The Blues play their first Evo-Stik League home match of the new season on Regatta Saturday against new boys Corby Town.

It’s the Northamptonshire side’s first ever visit to the Turnbull Ground, following draws with Halesowen and Matlock Town. The Seasiders were held 1-1 after a last-gasp goal at Sutton Coldfield in their only outing, last weekend.

Blues boss Chris Hardy revealed defender Andrew May faces a fitness test with Jamie Poole a possible replacement if required. Ben Askins remains on the injury list, with midfielder Dave McTiernan sitting out the second match of a four-game suspension.

Kick-off at the Turnbull is 3.00pm with admission set at £10 for Adults, £6 for Concessions, £3 Under 18s and Under 16s admitted completely free when accompanied by a full-price paying adult.

Please note that it’s Whitby Regatta this weekend so traffic into Whitby will be more congested than usual and parking will be heavily restricted.
