Goals from Tony Hackworth, Ged Dalton and Andy Campbell gave Whitby a welcome three points against Hucknall Town at the Turnbull today.

20th January - Blues dumped on pens
Whitby Town played their first game for 39 days and duly lost a penalty shoot out to NCEL Scarborough Athletic. The Blues had taken a 22nd minute lead through Tony Hackworth, but ex Town striker Ryan Blott cancelled that out. Scarborough won the shoot out 3-2.

19th January - NRSC Preview
Both Whitby and Scarborough hope that over five weeks of postponements will halt this Wednesday with a Yorkshire Coast derby at the Turnbull Ground, with Town boss Harry Dunn ready to field a strong side against the Blues' borough rivals.
Looking ahead to the rearranged midweek North Riding Cup tie, Dunn, who himself has history as a two-time FA Trophy winner with the former Scarborough FC club, stated: "We want to get through. We're in an unbeaten run at the moment and no-one wants to lose it."
