Whitby Town striker, Matty Tymon is an injury concern for Chris Hardy going into tomorrow’s Evo-Stik Premier match with Hednesford Town.
Chris Hardy admitted that Tymon had been playing with a dead leg during for the most part of Monday’s 1-1 draw with Scarborough Athletic and it now appears that this problem has developed.
Another particular concern with Tymon being a probable absentee, is the continued injury to Greg Rutherford. During the opening day victory over Buxton, Rutherford, Tymon and Junior Mondal played in an exciting front three, however with two of this combination missing, Chris Hardy could have some big decisions to make in that area of the field.
Ash Coffey, who was brought in over the summer, also continues his injury lay-off. It still appears as if he will be out of action for the next few months.
Midfielder, David McTiernan is also a doubt for the match with the Pitmen after he hobbled off in last Saturday’s defeat to Witton Albion.
In defence, the Blues continue to be without Lee Bullock who is also injured, as well as Alex White who continues to be unavailable until the home clash with Stalybridge Celtic on Tuesday 11th September.
The Whitby manager can confirm however, that new signing Josh Nearney will be available for selection at right-back.
