Chris Hardy could be missing up to three players when Middlesbrough’s Under-23s visit the Turnbull Ground on Saturday (1pm).
The game signals a break from league action, and a return to the North Riding Senior Cup, with this tie being the reward for beating Grangetown Boys Club 6-1 in the first round.
The Boro walked away from Mill Lane with a 1-0 win in the previous round, beating Pickering Town. A place in the semi-finals awaits the winner of the clash.
Hardy could shuffle the pack, with one eye on Tuesday’s huge league derby with Scarborough Athletic at the Turnbull Ground.
Dan McWilliams is a doubt for the Seasiders, while the Blues manager will also sweat on the fitness of Jassem Sukar, and Greg Rutherford, who was withdrawn in Wednesday’s defeat at Farsley Celtic due to illness.
Kick-off is at 1pm at the Turnbull Ground, with admission being £10 adults, £6 concessions, £3 U18 club members; FREE U18s with a paying adult.

Tickets will be on sale from Turnbull’s Bar ahead of the match for the Scarborough Athletic clash on New Year’s Day. Season ticket holders are reminded that they will need to obtain a blue ticket for the fixture. This will not cost any extra.
