Whitby Town Football Club is delighted to announce the loan signing of Cameron Salkeld from Carlisle United.
The youngster has agreed a one-month deal with the club as an effort to give himself regular game time.
Salkeld, 18, will give Chris Hardy an attacking option to turn to, especially with the absence of John Campbell who remains out for a couple of weeks.
As well as the ability to lead the line, the Carlisle youngster is also capable of bringing pace to the wide areas of his side.
His parent club have described their academy product as a “powerful, forward thinking player” and his spell at Whitby Town should be a memorable one for a player with great potential.
Salkeld, himself, believes he will bring “strength, pace and an attacking threat” to Whitby Town.
