Niall McGoldrick has made his move to Bishop Auckland permanent for an undisclosed fee, following a successful loan spell.

The 20-year old signed from Middlesbrough in the summer, after impressing in an initial trial spell, though found opportunities limited following the signings of Kevin Burgess and Jamie Poole.

McGoldrick made 22 appearances for the Seasiders in the first half of the season, scoring once against Scarborough Athletic in the Integro League Cup.

Whitby Town would like to place on record its thanks to Niall for his services to the club, and wish him all the very best for his future career.
