Injury concerns for Throstle Nest visit

By Paul Connolly

Blues boss Chris Hardy continues to carry injury worries going into the final bank holiday fixture of the season, at Farsley Celtic.

Hardy continues to miss skipper Steven Snaith, who is struggling with a hamstring injury. The midfielder hasn’t featured since the Blues’ heroic 2-2 draw with Stafford Rangers in February,

Also set to miss out is defender Andrew May, who also picked up a hamstring injury, during last week’s match with Mickleover Sports, whilst Anthony Hume is sidelined with torn abs. Luke Bythway is also a worry for the Blues manager, with his knee injury causing concern.

Callum Patton will serve the first game of his three-match suspension after his straight red card in the win at Coalville Town.

The Seasiders, however, will be boosted by the return of forward Matthew Tymon after work commitments, whilst defenders Kevin Burgess and Jassem Sukar will return to the first-team fold.

The Blues kick off at 3pm this afternoon at Throstle Nest, with admission set at £8 adults, £5 concessions and £1 under-18s. If you are unable to make the game, LIVE radio coverage with Paul Connolly and Liam Ryder will be online from kick-off via the TuneIn Radio app. We will also have live text commentary on our Twitter and Facebook pages.
