Chris Hardy says that his side can go into tonight’s game ‘with confidence’ following three consecutive victories, despite Warrington’s lofty position in the table.
Having secured at least a play-off place on Saturday, the Yellows will be delighted with the way their season has gone and will most likely be aiming to finish as high as possible.
And even though the Blues find themselves in mid-table, the manager is hoping that his side can go to Cantilever Park and perhaps cause an upset.
“We fancy ourselves,” Hardy revealed.
“At the moment, we’re defending well and contesting second balls which gives us the opportunity to control games, and offensively we’ve got goals in us at the moment.
“There’s no reason why that should change come Tuesday night.”
With the gaffer feeling confident, this has filtered through the playing squad with centre-back, Alex White also feeling that his team can take something back to the Yorkshire Coast.
White is keen to bring something back this time around having felt hard done by in the reverse fixture with Warrington coming away with a late 1-0 victory.
“I think we were the better team on the night earlier on in the season,” White said.
“We probably should have won that night, but the confidence is flowing at the moment so there’s no reason why we can’t go there and give them a good old battle.
“Hopefully we can come away with all three points or at least a point.”
Admission at Cantilever Park is Adults £10, Concession £6 and U16 £2.
