Chris Hardy is hoping his Whitby Town side can start “stringing a few results together” beginning on Saturday when Witton Albion visit the Turnbull Ground.
The Seasiders are winless in their last ten competitive fixtures, but Hardy believes that his sides recent efforts can push them over the line this weekend.
The Blues remain without attackers Connor Dunlavey and John Campbell through injury, however, they are expected to be back in the frame in the coming weeks.
Fellow attacker, Anthony Hume is also unavailable due to other engagements.
Chris Hardy could hand a debut to new loan signing, 18 year old Cameron Salkeld, who would give the Blues boss a new attacking option.
Despite the poor run of form for Whitby, Hardy has right to believe that his side should have more, given performances in the past weeks.
“The fixture against Nantwich proved disappointing as on the day we were much the better side.” Hardy said.
“The performance levels that we require were just about on point. Going into Saturday’s game with a similar mindset and application I’m sure we can start to see the team picking up points and getting our season up and running.”
Please come along to the Turnbull ground and help the team begin a good run going into the tough Christmas period, kick off is at 3pm.
For supporters who are unable to make it to the game, listen to live coverage in Whitby Town Radio with Paul Connolly and Andrew Snaith from 3pm.
