It was mission accomplished for Whitby Town as they did more than enough to secure their place in the UniBond Premier next season with a resounding 4-0 victory over Ilkeston Town.

Whitby Town will have to win their last game of the season to guarantee their Premier league place for next season after they slumped to defeat at Prescot Cables today.

Three more crucial points for Whitby Town in their battle for survival. An own goal before half time and Brunskill effort with 15minutes left secured the win.

 29th March - Tigers bitten
It was a case of coming from behind again, but four second half goals from Danny Brunskill(2), Karl Charlton and Andy Burton saw off Worksop Town and handed Whitby 3 more crucial points. There was also a return for Tony Hackworth, on loan from Harrogate Town as well as another home debut for Lee Nogan.

 24th March - Massive win for Town
A superb Karl Charlton hattrick gave Whitby Town all three crucial points at North Ferriby today. A first Town goal for youngster Sam Garvie also helped to see off the hosts after they had taken an early lead.

 21st March - Guiseley beat the wind
Whitby Town fell to play-off hopefuls Guiseley in extremely windy conditions at the Turnbull today. The visitors took the lead midway through the first half, and they doubled their lead after the break, before Karl Charlton scored in the 55th minute. Town however, couldn't find the breakthrough for a point.

 15th March - Nogan strike grabs point
No it isn't a typo, former Whitby Town manager Lee Nogan WAS the goalscorer as the Seasiders grabbed a welcome point at top 5 Buxton. A penalty from the home side, the second poor decision in a week, was cancelled out with 15 minutes to go and Whitby also came close to snatching it.

 12th March - Hammer blow for Whitby
Whitby Town crashed to a dismal 3-0 defeat at the hand of fellow strugglers Ilkeston Town tonight. The home side showed the grit necessary and took an early lead before doubling their advantage before half time. In the second half David Campbell was unjustly sent off despite winning the ball and from the resulting spot kick Ilkeston made the game safe.

A goal in stoppage time at the end of the first half condemned Whitby Town to defeat at the hands of second placed Fleetwood Town today.
