Blues marksman Matty Tymon has made the top 200 list for the greatest players in the Northern Premier League’s fifty-year history.
The ex-Workington forward is in his third spell with the Seasiders, playing under Graeme Clark, Harry Dunn, Tommy Cassidy and Darren Williams, before re-joining the Blues in June 2016. He initially joined on loan from Hartlepool United in 2009. Dunn himself, given the nominal initial A to differentiate from his namesake, is also on the list, alongside a number of ex-Town stars.
FA Vase and double-championship-winning centre-half David ‘Goochy’ Goodchild, is joined on the list by fellow central defender Danny Farthing, ex-Middlesbrough playmaker Anthony Ormerod, the versatile Andy Leeson and popular striker Graeme Armstrong.
Supporters are encouraged to pick a 16-man squad and top 100. To vote for Matty or any of the ex-Blues, click on: https://t.co/WyD7edHXaV.
