Chris Hardy has expressed his desire to “right the wrongs” when Whitby Town entertain Lancaster City at the Turnbull Ground tomorrow afternoon.
Last season, Lancaster scored nine goals against the Blues across both League fixtures so the manager knows just how important it is to erase those memories this time around.
And these bad memories for everyone associated with the club would certainly be improved with three points tomorrow afternoon against the Lancashire side.
“Over the two games last season, we were blown away,” said Hardy.
“They put plenty of goals past us so that doesn’t bring me fond memories of this fixture so we’re certainly looking to right the wrongs going into this game.”
In terms of team news, right-back Connor Smith is expected to feature in the matchday squad after linking up with the Blues last week, whereas left-back Daniel McWilliams is set to remained sidelined as he recovers from injury.
Admission at the Turnbull Ground is as follows: Adults £10, Concessions £6, Under 18’s £3, and U16’s FREE (with a paying adult).
If you are unable to make it to the Turnbull Ground, there will be LIVE commentary on Yorkshire Coast Radio Extra from 3pm, with updates on social media.
Please also be aware that a pitch inspection will be carried out at 9am. Keep an eye out on social media, and the forum for the final decision as to whether the game will go ahead.
