Will Thirteen be Lucky for Whitby Town?

By Liam Ryder

Whitby Town are without a victory in twelve games, but will it be thirteenth time lucky for Chris Hardy’s men against Coalville on Saturday?

The Seasiders poor run continued in “embarrassing” style on Wednesday night as they fell to defeat at the hands of Wearside League side, Redcar Athletic.

One thing that will please Chris Hardy ahead of the game against Coalville will be the fact that he has his full squad available.

Returning centre backs, Jamie Poole and Kevin Burgess will allow Hardy to potentially fix any recent lapses in defensive concentration.

Lewis Maloney will also be available to make his first appearance since joining Whitby Town on a permanent basis.

Fans could expect Chris Hardy to bring out the changes on Saturday afernoon following the poor display the other night.

Kick off at the Turnbull Ground is at 3pm.

Fans who are unable to get to the game can listen to live coverage on Whitby Town Radio with Paul Connolly and Andrew Snaith.
