Whitby Town manager, Chris Hardy has confirmed the striker, Matty Tymon will miss tomorrow’s final pre-season fixture against Marske United.
Tymon missed last weekend’s Whitby Town Challenge Cup final after sustaining a lip injury during the semi-final victory over Hull City.
The Blues are also waiting to hear as to whether defenders, Kieran Weledji and Dan McWilliams will be fit to feature in the clash at the Turnbull Ground.
As well as injuries, the Seasiders are also having to compete with key players being unavailable with Andy Monkhouse out against Marske. The midfielder, who confirmed his stay with the club last week, is unable to feature against the fellow Seasiders due to other commitments.
In the absence of these key players within the squad, Chris Hardy is expected to turn his attention back to a number of trialists. This will be the gaffer’s last chance to assess who he wants in his squad before the Evo-Stik Premier season gets underway in two weeks time against Buxton.
Admission at the Turnbull Ground will be as follows: Adults £6, Concessions £3, U18s £2, U16s FREE (with paying adult)
There will also be LIVE coverage on Yorkshire Coast Radio Extra with Paul Connolly and Liam Ryder from 3pm, as well as a Facebook LIVE broadcast bringing you team news and build-up from around 2:30pm.
