Seasiders looking to build on thrilling comeback

Whitby Town will be looking to build on impressive come-back against Rushall Olympic when they visit Keys Park to take on Hednesford Town.

The Seasiders found themselves 3-0 down after only eleven minutes but a Junior Mondal stunner and a double from Matty Tymon ensured the Blues didn’t return home empty handed.

Chris Hardy will also be pleased with the fact that he has his full squad to chose from ahead of the trip to Staffordshire, including a return for summer signing, Connor Dunlavey.

This will include new signing, Jack Norton, who will be expected to make his debut in goal after signing from South Shields today.

The meeting earlier in the season ended in a goalless draw at the Turnbull Ground and tomorrow’s trip won’t be an easy tie with the Pitmen sitting in the top half of the table.

A supporters bus will leave the Turnbull Ground at 8:30am for the trip to the Midlands.

There will also be commentary on Whitby Town Radio from 3pm.
