Callum Martin could return to the Blues’ starting line-up, on Saturday, as they prepare for a trip to the West Midlands to face Rushall Olympic.
The wing-back returns from a hip complaint that has seen him sit out since the 2-0 Boxing Day defeat against Farsley Celtic.
He will, however, have to battle it out with Kieran Weledji, who has put in impressive performances in his last two outings at right-back
Chris Hardy, however, will not be able to call on the services of centre-half Jamie Poole, who misses the trip, along with the injured Connor Dunlavey. The winger is hoping to return to action soon, though.
Good start to the year finding out no operation is needed. Big step towards getting back playing! @WhitbyTownFC

The Blues have found their feet away from home in recent weeks, taking their unbeaten run on the road to three games, with draws at Stourbridge and Shaw Lane and a win at Workington.
They will, however, need to be on their guard, with their hosts coming into the game on the back of a dramatic late 4-3 win over fellow relegation battlers Sutton Coldfield, last weekend.
A supporters’ coach will leave the Turnbull Ground, bound for Dales Lane, at 8:30am. Places cost £10 each, but are limited. To book your place, please ring chairman Graham Manser on 07966 241 344.
Also, if you are unable to make the game, Paul Connolly will be bringing the full ninety minutes LIVE on Whitby Town Radio on the TuneIn Radio app and via a live stream on the Blues’ Facebook page.
