Whitby Town will be hoping that they can finally play Grantham Town after two postponements of the fixture. However, a recent improvement in weather should allow the game to go ahead tomorrow afternoon at the Turnbull Ground.
After two weeks without a game due to other postponements, the Blues should be relatively fresh for the visit of the Gingerbreads but Luke Bythway remains out through injury. He is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
Steven Snaith’s suspension still stands after being sent off against Stafford Rangers in February.
Chris Hardy does have some good news however, with Callum Patton returning to the squad after a short spell on the sidelines.
The visitors, Grantham Town, have also had the same rest period, without a game for two weeks after every match in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier was called off last weekend.
The Gingerbreads sit in a very respectable sixth position, with games in hand, and the Seasiders know that they’ll need to be at their best if they’re going to take anything off their counterparts on Saturday afternoon who beat Whitby 2-0 earlier on in the season.
Kick off at the Turnbull Ground is at 3pm tomorrow afternoon with live coverage also on Whitby Town Radio with Paul Connolly and Andrew Snaith.
