Whitby Town will be hoping to replicate their recent away form at the Turnbull Ground, where results have been hard to find in recent matches, when Halesowen Town make the long trip north.

The Seasiders have played three away games since their 5-0 home defeat to Lancaster City. Three draws in a row have also seen Chris Hardy’s men go five games unbeaten on the road.

Hardy does have reason to believe that home form can be improved. “There’s been a lot of progress since that weekend, a lot of hard work as well.

We’ll go into the game with confidence and hopefully we’ll get a positive result.”

The Blues boss will yet again be able to field a strong squad with only the recovering Connor Dunlavey sidelined.

The game will be viewed as a ‘six-pointer’ down the bottom end of the table with the Yeltz sitting just below the Blues in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.

“These games always have a symbol of meaning. Expect a competitive game and hopefully we’ll come out on the right end of the score line.”

For supporters who are unable to make it to the Turnbull Ground, there will be live commentary on Whitby Town Radio with Liam Ryder and Andrew Snaith
