Whitby Town will begin their 2018/19 pre-season campaign at Billingham Town for the second consecutive year.
The Blues will travel to Bedford Terrace on Saturday, July 14 (3pm), as they begin their preparations for the new Evo-Stik Premier campaign.
Last season the Seasiders ran out 3-1 winners over the Northern League Division Two side, with David Carson netting twice; Mikey Roberts netting the third. Ex-Seasider Chris Dickinson netted the hosts’ consolation from the penalty spot.
The Blues will then travel to Guisborough Town on the following Wednesday (July 18 – 7:30pm) to defend the Mickey Skinner Memorial Trophy, followed by a trip to former Northern League rivals Bishop Auckland on Saturday, July 21 (3pm).
The Whitby Town Challenge Cup will take place once again the week after, with Middlesbrough facing Sheffield United at the Turnbull Ground on Wednesday, July 25 (7:30pm), with the Blues hosting Hull City on Thursday, July 26 (7:30pm).
The third-place play-off (1:30pm) and final (5pm) will both take place on Saturday, July 28, with Whitby set to face either Boro or the Blades.
The Seasiders will also host Evo-Stik East new boys Marske United on Saturday, August 4 (3pm) with Carl Jarrett’s men coming in fresh off the back of their promotion from Northern League Division One.
