Whitby Town Football Club is delighted to announce that popular figure, Jimmy Beadle has returned to the club after several seasons away from the club.
Beadle, 30, was part of the promotion winning Scarborough Athletic side last season and appeared on the substitutes bench against the Seasiders on Bank Holiday Monday.
The midfielder stated that the reason for his return was to gain more game time, something not being received at the Flamingo Land Stadium.
“I’m glad to be back,” said Beadle.
“I’m excited and I just want to get started, I’m looking forward to it. I feel like I should be playing and if you’re not going to play, you need to go elsewhere.
“That’s the main reason I left Scarborough and came here, I just want to play Football. I want to score goals and be playing regularly.”
