Report - muddled together from various sources :-
The first half was pretty even, with Radcliffe going closest on a couple of occassions, but generally the Whitby defence marshalled league top scorer Jody Banim well. Second half saw Whitby take control. Alex Gildea put Town ahead in the 53rd minute when he tucked away a loose ball following a free kick. Anthony Ormerod increased the lead 15 minutes later when he headed home a Graham Robinson cross. Two minutes later Alex Gildea scored again to make it 3-0.
Mark Sheeran scored his second and third goals in a four days when he turned in Veart's low cross and then dribbled home to compound Whitby's fine away day.
Sorry about the rubbish report, but I was in Whitby this weekend and I would normally have gone to this match if i'd been at home. Hopefully i'll butcher the Gazette report on Tuesday!!
