Report - Whitby Town's eight game unbeaten run in the league came to an end at the hands of a quality Guiseley outfit.
Manager Harry Dunn continued with the same eleven who started at Buxton with Alex Gildea returning to the subs bench after suspension.
Guiseley looked lively from the start and took the lead on 4 minutes when a corner was powered in by the head of James Cotterill.
Whitby went close through Dalton and Beadle but Guiseley were looking the most threatening and could have easily doubled their advantage but they found veteran keeper Dave Campbell in fine form.
Adam Muller did eventually double the lead 4 minutes after the break when James Walsaw held of Denny Ingram to lay the ball off for Muller to tap home.Whitby were handed a lifeline when Tony Hackworth dispatched a penalty on the hour, but Guiseley continued to look dangerous with Campbell saving again from Walshaw.
With stoppage time being played the home side made it three when Kamara's header beat Campbell.
Overall it was a disappointing display from Town albeit against a very good team who didn't allow them the time and space, with only skipper Hackworth and keeper Campbell coming out with any real credit.
