Report - to follow but basically it was like this - The ref awarded Bromsgrove an early free kick on the edge of our area for a nothing offence and their no8 curled it into the right hand side of the net.
We started to play well and Browne should have equalised soon after. We put a bit of pressure on and got a corner. Ormerod took it, the keeper and Dixon went up for it and we were all convinced that Dixon had headed it in but it may have squirmed off the keeper's fist.
We did well for the rest of the half and looked un troubled. Second half we started well and took the lead when Browne found himself in space and he fired home.
The lead lasted 8 minutes but it seemed longer, but they scored when we went to sleep at the back and their 17 year old striker banged it in.
The home keeper made two excellent saves to deny Browne and Ormerod, and Bromsgrove had a couple of near misses, but nothing too scary.
Paul Campbell was sent off with 5 minutes to go for supposodly throwing the ball away, even though he threw the ball to the opposition player, it just went overhis head by a yard. Pathetic refereeing.
Overall a good game, good atmosphere, good beer.
